Death Doula Training: An Eight‑Week Formation Journey is a comprehensive, heart‑centered program for those called to accompany individuals and ʻohana through the sacred threshold of dying. Rooted in aloha, cultural humility, and spiritual presence, this training weaves practical skills with reflective inner work.

Participants explore the foundations of presence, deep listening, ritual, grief work, vigil support, and ethical practice. Music is a central thread throughout the journey, offering emotional grounding and spiritual resonance. A full Hawai‘i‑specific cultural appendix supports doulas in honoring ʻāina, kūpuna, and the diverse cultural traditions of the islands.

The program includes a complete curriculum booklet, journaling workbook, and cultural companion materials. In addition to weekly sessions, participants will complete a resource portfolio, take part in a mentored practicum, and join a couple of planned field trips that deepen cultural and spiritual learning.

Upon successful completion of the practicum, participants will receive formal certification.

Whether preparing for professional practice or responding to a personal calling, this training offers a spacious, compassionate, and culturally grounded pathway into end‑of‑life care.

The course begins July 21!
